On 23rd of January this year the building process of the orthopaedic workshop has started, not far from the headquarters of Vision for Africa, the Land of Hope in Kiyunga (VFA has provided the land). In the future people with disabilities should be helped here with prosthesis and orthosis and physiotherapy.
With the help of the association "ProUganda - Prothesen für neues Leben e.V." (Prosthesis for new life) from Germany this became reality. Already for the last few years ProUganda has helped people with orthopaedic means. Many patients that come have already lost the social connection to society. Together we want to give these people hope and perspective.
