"Winnie's journey" at the BLACK INTERNATIONAL CINEMA BERLIN Filmfestival
The documentary "Winnie's journey", which film director Janina Hüttenrauch made about one of our children, will be part of the BLACK INTERNATIONAL CINEMA BERLIN Filmfestival in mid-May!
Eleven-year-old Winnie Muliisa is part of a children's gospel choir in Uganda. Her father died when she was a young girl, and her life has been anything, but easy. But Winnie is a fighter, and now she is facing the biggest adventure of her life: Together with friends, she is working hard to prepare for the choir's first overseas tour. Besides the emotion and excitement of her journey to Europe, Winnie is also nervously awaiting one moment in particular. She will finally have the opportunity to meet the person who has changed her life forever.
