Inauguration of our projects on the Prayer Mountain
Dear friends of Vision for Africa!
When I think of the inauguration day of our Prayer Mountain and the surrounding projects, I can just join these two boys in the picture saying "Thank You"!
A great "Thank you" for your prayers for this great Inauguration day of the Prayer Mountain and the various projects in the surrounding area.
On February 23rd, the First Lady, our beloved Mother of this country, Mama Janet, came together with the retired Archbishop of the anglican church, Henry Luke Orombi, and the bishop of al the pentecostal churches, bishop Joshua Lwere, and with many other invited guests and residents of this area to officially inaugurate the following projects.
In Kikondo:
- The new School for the blind
- The newly renovated Primary school
- The Kindergarten and Children homes.
On the Prayer Mountain in Tongolo:
- The Primary school, Kindergarten and the new Health centre
- The Discipleship school
- The seminary-house "House Jacob"
It was a day of joy. The presence of God was perceptible. The weather was great, too. There were hardly any political speeches. The Lord was praised and honored and thanked for all the blessings that can now flow in this area.
The residents were so thankful, that a real difference can be felt in the area.
All this only exists because of Gods blessings and because of the many giving people in Europe, who support us to do this blessed work in Uganda.
Thank you to everybody, who helped in this development through his/her donation! It would have been great, if you could have been part of this celebration, but you can still visit us any time and see the progress towards which you contributed.
With blessings and a thankful heart from Uganda,
Maria with family and the whole european and Ugandan team
