Conference for 500 youth from the street

Since last Sunday we have accommodated 500 young people here in Vision for Africa, who attend a 7-days conference in our new Community Hall of the High School in Nakifuma. The First Lady who is also the minister of education and sports, asked us whether we could attend to this big group of young adults of the streets and give them spiritual as well as moral, educational and sportive inputs. If we can offer the continuous educational support is still questionable, due to a lack of sponsors.

It is logistically, spiritually and also pedagogically a tremendous challenge to all, and yet we have experienced a very blessed time here so far. We hope to lead all these young people with a lot of potential (and unfortunately also a lot of aggression-potential) onto a good way and to reveal to them and show them their opportunities.
