Cultural Sunday Service
What a blast we had: A cultural church service displaying everyone in their own traditional wear. You could easily see how traditions have come together, a big variety of different African styles, from the many tribes in Uganda to Nigeria and Rwanda, each one more unique and beautiful than the next, German and Austrian "Dirndl" and Americans among others. This was such a beautiful diversity for the glory of God!
We had songs and prayers in many different languages (it seemed not to end!) and a real feast of cultures. After the service we came together in different small groups of mixed cultures, exchanging this and that and getting to know each other and each other's cultures.
What a blessed Sunday, what a creative author and maker our God is!!!
