We are looking for a new:

As the HR officer you must have a clear understanding of the vision and objectives of Vision for Africa Intl. and be able to develop and implement policies which sele
t, develop and retain the right staff to meet these objectives.
Some of your responsibilities include:
working closely with the leadership of the Ministry and with various departments, mainly in a consultancy role; assisting department leaders to understand and implement policies and procedures and realize set objectives
recruiting staff, approving job descriptions, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
developing and implementing policies on working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management; preparing staff guidelines
advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits
undertaking regular salary reviews
administering payroll and maintaining employee records
interpreting and advising on employment law
dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements
analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental leaders
preparation of annual reports in cooperation with the different departments
preparation of termly/annual budgets in cooperation with the different departments
